Driver Sought After Camden Woman, 41, Killed In Hit-And-Run: Prosecutors

Police were looking for the driver who killed a Camden woman in a hit-and-run crash, authorities said.

Carla Mahan, 41, died in the crash on Wednesday, Sept. 25, Camden County Prosecutor Grace MacAulay said in a news release.

Camden County police responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle near the intersection of South Seventh and Tulip streets at around 3:21 p.m. Mahan was rushed to Cooper University Hospital and pronounced dead at 4:06 p.m.

No arrests have been made as of press time. This investigation remained ongoing.
